About Basic Clinical Training

The BCT course is offered in two sections. Level I is a 12 day training program that is usually completed in three sessions of four days each, scheduled over a six to nine month period to enable trainees to practice with clients and prepare DVDs for review. Level II is a six month program of supervision, wherein trainees meet with their clinical instructor or an Imago consultant to discuss their process and present DVDs of their work for review. Level II also includes some written self-evaluation reports. To become certified, trainees are required to submit a final clinical DVD for evaluation, as well as a formal evaluation.
